NEW. Very Scarce Item and Not Often Seen. 1975 issue.
This was the first car of the series of "Toy Fair" cars Lionel subsequently produced.
At the time this car was made Lionel used to send representatives to attend a large toy makers show (TOY FAIR) in New York around February. The car was made to not only commemorate their 75Th year as a company but also to display the item as one of their products at the show. It was a small production run and eventually the cars ended up in the hands of some of their dealers and were sold.
Comes with an unlabeled original Lionel box. |
